Stone Technology Centre (STC) is a private company established in 1983 by K. Vikram.  Initially after publishing six books on dimension stones STC got involved in multifarious activities relating to stone industry.
Engineering and Consultancy : Preparation of pre-feasibility report, market survey and research to ascertain product’s potential, setting up of stone quarries and processing plants, manufacture of artefacts and providing information on foreign collaboration and fiscal incentives. STC has expertise to set up complete project from inception to finish.
Publication: Published six books on dimension stones written by K. Vikram, which are Stone Industry in India, Directory of Dimensional Stones, Pashan – Buyer’s Guide for Dimensional Stones, Export potential of Dimensional Stones, Slate – The Wonder Stone and The Rajasthan Dimensional Stone Industry – Opportunities and Galore.
Today STC is regularly publishing Stone Panorama, a quarterly magazine on dimension stones, stone products and related machinery and tools, which has a distribution of 9,100 / 7,100 copies every quarter in India and foreign countries.  Fair Planner is a yearly publication on international fairs on dimension stones.
STC sometimes carries out research work on topics of international interest and assists foreign companies in manpower recruitment.  It has capability of conducting training programme on stone processing and marketing.  Sourcing and inspection is also carried out by STC’s experts for foreign buyers.
